The Hunt

These toys are God's gift to cat parents. Attach a little yarn to the end and you can keep them busy for hours. Fritz is notorious for doing backflips to try and catch the toy in mid-air.

Doo Wop

A couple of weeks ago Nate and I went to a 50's dance that one of my girls from the Young Women's program planned for her end of the year project. It was so fun to dance to old school music and have Nate twirl me around in my HUGE poodle skirt. An older couple asked us if we had taken dance lessons! I think they might need their glasses checked.

Today There Are No Stairs

A classmate in my social diversity class handed this to me yesterday. I'm getting ready to go to class right now so I am going to try to get from my parking spot to my building without using any stairs---it's pretty much all uphill so it should be a challenge. I will let you know how it goes. You can check out the blog here.

Dishes and Menfolk

So I've had the giggles today. It started this morning when Nate and I were rushing out the door to school and work. Nate glanced at the sink and said, "Well, at least the kitchen is clean."
This is so funny because I coudn't even get a glass of water this morning because the stream of water would hit a plate and then spray everywhere!
Then after work I stopped at the grocery store for a few items and spotted this huge sandwich that I thought Nate might like in his lunch tomorrow. As I was checking out the female cashier commented on how large the sandwhich was. I said it was for my husband and she said, "Yeah, most menfolk would like a sandwich like that." I felt like I was back in Renaissance days picking up a roasted turkey leg for the "menfolk" in my village!" I mean really, who says that word? I giggled about it all the way home.
