Nate and I met 10 years ago at a New Year's Eve party in Salt Lake City called First Night. Most of our friends and family know the crazy story of how we met that involves tales of
bullriding, the
slurpee pick up line, and and of course the midnight kiss!
Technically the first time we laid eyes on each other that night was at the
Shilo Inn--so to celebrate that magical moment we decided to book a suite at
Shilo Inn and head downtown to the "Eve" party. We met up with Nate's parents and had a blast ringing in the New Year.
We started out with a delicious dinner at P.F
Changs(thanks Aunt
Koreen for our gift card!)
(and a shout out to the guy in the background of our picture -
at least chew your food before you ruin someones photo!!)

Then we headed outside to check out the festivities at the
Gallivan Center.
It wasn't snowing but it was still totally freezing!
We were all bundled up and Nate's dad looked like Randy
from a Christmas story.

The
USANA rail jam was really cool and then we
walked over to Off Broadway Theatre and saw a pretty funny
improv show.

Then we strolled around Temple Square...

It was almost midnight and and we were tired of being out in the cold so we decided to head back to the hotel room to watch the fireworks from the perfect view of our hotel window. We had comfy chairs, noise makers, bubbly, and of course Dick Clark in the background.
HAPPY
2010!!
