eleven months

mabel is eleven months old today and i think this has been my favorite month so far.

for starters: the teeth, the hair, the chubby little fingers...
it's no wonder i take a million pictures of her.

she loves making goofy faces...takes after her parents

her favorite toy right now is this little piano

she enjoys tupperware parties and electric guitars

she has become a peek-a-boo pro

the minute i tell her not to put something in her mouth guess what she does?

now that she has started pulling herself up she is into EVERYTHING!
it hasn't bothered me too much though, i love watching her explore.

i have just started trying to give her whole milk in a sippy cup and she won't take more than a sip.  she takes a drink, makes a face, and throws her cup.  bummer.  i was hoping to start weaning her but i guess it is going to take longer than i thought.  a friend suggested mixing breast milk and whole milk together and then slowing putting in more and more whole milk.  but that would mean i would have to pump and i hate pumping.  so i'm not quite sure what to do because i am ready for a little freedom.  but in the meantime, i'll just keep taking pictures of this sweet little face.

i don't think you're ready for this jelly...

one of mabel's favorite breakfast foods is toast with jelly
she really loves it....and as you can see it loves her back.

hey, how did this get ALL OVER my hands?

maybe peek-a-boo will help it go away

i never knew I could love a dirty little face so much

Spring Break

I got to see my mom in February AND March - yay! My mom was on spring break from teaching seminary, and my little brother had the week off too, so they decided to drive out and spend some time with us and with my grandparents in Kamas.  My step-dad Kraig flew out for the last few days of the trip too.

Mabel cruising on her new train from Grandma:

Early Easter treasures - that is the cutest spring flower I have ever seen!

Grandma always finds the coolest books.

We spent a few days in Kamas visiting my grandparents and I forgot my camera.
(Thanks mom for sharing your pics)

Squeaky Clean

Playing Cards

Mabel was mesmerized by the fireplace.

We found this tasty EASY recipe on Pinterest and made it for my grandparents.

Lunch at Noodles & Co.

Check out that look! Geesh.

On Wednesday afternoon we took advantage of the last $1 day at Tracy Aviary.
The whole reason why we wanted to go was to feed the Sun Conures and when we got there it was already sold out. That was a bummer.

Somebody had their first cookie...

Bye-Bye!

My mom taught Mabel "This Little Piggy"

In between watching General Conference we went to the park.
It was really windy but we still had a good time.

I told my little brother he needed to use this as his Facebook picture.
Cute kid eh?

The week went by too fast, as usual!
