Friday night we went to Nate's cousin's wedding up in Park City and it was beautiful! The bride and groom were glowing, the food was amazing, and we spent a relaxing evening visiting with family.

Mile High Flea Market
On Saturday my mom, Kelsey, and I got up early and headed to the Mile High Flea Market in Denver. It was amazing!! It is sort of a farmer's market meets yard sale slash swap meet. Needless to say I was in heaven. Our favorite food finds were sweet hot kettle corn, fresh fire roasted peppers, ripe mangoes, and the most perfect jimaca ever!
Here we are ready to start the day...
If I had a produce booth it would have looked like this one:
(We bought strange cactus fruit that sort of tastes like a pomegranate from him)

A few of my finds...a cool old sign (it's magnetic!), a vintage indexing file drawer (to store my buttons), and the biggest potato masher I have ever seen!

Living Traditions
We checked out Living Traditions Festival this weekend--it was such a perfect summer night with good food, music, and atmosphere. I got a Lebanese falafel sandwich and it was awesome! Nate had food from all sorts of booths - he got some really tasty Pad Thai. One of the craft tents had people carving fruits and vegetables--the detail was incredible. (mom, I took that picture for you--I think the watermelon needs to be your next project!)

Feline Fascination
Some recent pictures of the boys for grandma:
As I was leaving for work this morning both cats were enjoying their separate window seats:
Since on occasion the cats have been known to take a nibble of my houseplants (CHARLIE!!) I decided I would try and grow them a little sweet greens treat made especially for cats. It shot up in just a few days and I was so excited for them to dig in! I placed it right in the middle of their food bowls and called them over to check it out. They sniffed it, stared at it, and that was that. Not even a taste! Charlie is afraid it could attack him at any moment and Fritz wishes it did something exciting.
