(mabel's actual birthday)
I was so happy that we had Mabel's frozen party the weekend before
because little did I know I would have Elliott two weeks early,
which ended up being TWO days before Mabel's actual birthday.
Two kids, birthdays two days apart...it's a Tew thing.
I stayed home with the baby while Nate, Kelsey, Grandma
Naylor, and my mom took Mabel out to breakfast...
and then to Build a Bear! Aunt Kelsey wanted
to get Mabel a stuffed animal for her birthday.
Mabel made this cute puppy dog she named
Pixie Arendelle Tew.
After her nap we gave her our present:
a new big girl bike!!!
She wanted, "A bike with a bell, and a basket,
with a whale." I have no idea where
the whole whale idea came from but she would say
it every time I would ask her. I asked her if she
meant a whale decoration on her bike? No,
a whale in the basket.
Okaaaaaaay.
We had her wait on the couch while
daddy brought her present out of hiding:
She was just a smidgen excited:
Checking for the whale:
Yep, she was in the basket!
We named her Betsy.
So happy and excited to ride it!
A few minor adjustments...
and she was CRUISIN!
She got the hang of the brake pretty quick
and has been riding to the mailbox and back
every day!
She got to open presents from Grandma Naylor
and Aunt Koreen too:
LEGOS!
Grandma and Grandpa Tew even called to sing
her Happy Birthday all the way from Austria!

Time for icecream sundaes!!
Aunt Kristy stopped by with a present!
A new hat and purse!!
