I just read it for one of my

classes this semester and loved it.

My plants have survived the winter! My little Venus fly trap in the polka dot pot is really

struggling to make a come back, but it really needs more humidity than Utah can offer. (If anyone has any fly trap suggestions let me know) My Christmas Cactus has bright pink blooms all over and looks as happy as can be---after reading Holly's post I would have to say that plants are one of the things that bring me a lot of joy. : )

We got a bunch of old Salt Lake City postcards on consignment at Abode the other day and I loved this one. I am so glad spring is here!

My mom and I have been working on these shadow boxes all week and with Nate's help we got them finished and hung today! They are full of treasures and memories from my great grandma Eula, great grandpa Raymond and both of their parents/families. We are rewarding ourselves tonight with cheesecake!
