Tonight I turned the oven up to 375 to preheat it for our tasty homemade pizza that needed to be cooked. Little did I know that Nate had left his two rolls from dinner the previous night in the oven. So the oven is heating up...for quite awhile actually (wheat pizza dough takes a little longer to roll out!) and I thought to myself that the oven smelled like something was burning but I figured it was just something that had dripped down from some other meal since I had NO IDEA there were two perfectly good rolls burning to a crisp inside! I opened the oven to put the pizza in and my eyelashes practically got singed off by heat and smoke and I was shocked to see these looking back at me:

burnt and hard as rocks. we laughed pretty hard.

Reminds me of when Travis and Nate left the loaf of bread from Outback in the oven and we pulled the prank on Nate telling him the apartment was on fire. Probably not too nice of us. That picture of the rolls cracks me up! Oops!
