...eleven months...

It was time for his first haircut!!
BEFORE:

Gotta love Cookie Cutters!
DURING:

He was happy as a clam:

AFTER:

I love making this boy giggle:

Trouble.

He loves walking behind his train:

It's amazing what I find outside the cat door!
Toys, markers, kitchen utensils, snacks...

His eyes light up when he sees a Costco berry smoothie:

He loves the tub and splashes like a wild man!

He put the computer mouse to his ear and
said, "AH?"

First time on the swings! He liked it but
not as much as Mabel did her first time. He was happier
when I got him out and let him crawl all over the ground.

He is a climber. I was getting laundry out of the
dryer and came out to find him like this!!

He went from zero to FOUR teeth this month, all
on the bottom.  His top two teeth just poked through
a few days ago. He has been miserable but
I love seeing how his little smile
is changing with teeth!

~~~EASTER~~~
We had a wonderful Easter weekend!!
We got to listen to inspired words of wisdom
from our prophet and church leaders
and my mom and Kraig came for a short visit.
PLUS, Nate's parents get home from Austria tonight!
LIFE IS GOOD!!!
I thought this was a great Easter video:
"Because He lives, each one of us can experience help, hope, and healing
every day of our lives."
Sunday Snookums
(this was the week before Easter)
Neighborhood Egg Hunt
Elliott had his first Cadbury mini egg...it was a hit!
Watching sister at soccer practice:
New Bowls Selfie:
The Easter bunny stopped at Costco early!
THANKS MOM!!
Easter Bonnet Extravaganza!
Mabel had been talking about wanting to make Easter bonnets (I think she saw it on a show)
and she mentioned it to my mom a few weeks ago. Well, Nana got all the treasures we would
need to make them! We had a lot of fun putting them together,
and my mom even sacrificed her fingertips to hot glue gun burns!
Mabel chose all the accessories for her bonnet complete
with the little chick right on top! She looked so cute wearing
it around all day.
We love having Nana at our house.
When my mom left Mabel pouted and  said, "I think I need to cry."
Me too Mabel, me too.
Easter tree and treats from
Great Grandma Naylor!
My grandma has always had this little tree and she thought
that Mabel would enjoy having it now; she was right! It has tons
of tiny little Easter ornaments and Mabel carefully
put each one on the tree.
Elliott + Grandma Cuddle Time
Easter Feast
(Saturday)
It was a little chilly so only the brave ate outside!
It warmed up later in the afternoon.
Elliott got to try some trifle. I wish I had some right now.
Coloring eggs:
Chillaxin' with the fam:
Having Nate around is pretty much the best thing ever.
Is it time for him to retire yet?
We love daddy!
Telestrations:
My mom and Kraig brought out this new game that is
kind of like telephone but you draw the words. It was hilarious
and we had a blast playing it over and over again.
These are two of Nate's sketches that made me laugh
so hard! He is fun to sit by.
"Microscope"
"Fire Eater"
Easter Morning:
We stayed in our jammies all day and just relaxed and listened
to conference. "Stay by the Tree," was one of my favorite talks (watch it HERE)
....but I need to relisten to 90% of them because you can only catch so much
while trying to wrestle a 10 month old!
We hauled the love sac out of Mabel's room and into
the living room...that thing is so comfy! I want it as my bed.
Another one of my favorite talks from conference was titled,
"We'll Ascend Together."  You can watch it HERE.
It made me think about how thankful I am for the husband
and father that Nate continually strives to be. His patience, kindness, and
wisdom never ceases to amaze me. He make me want to do better,
and try harder. He forgives easily and is slow to judge.
Heavenly Father knew we needed each other to grow and learn.
"Thee lift me and I'll lift thee, and we'll ascend together."
Flashback Friday
That one time I had short brown hair, and bangs.
(I promise it's not a wig.)
