Drop by and say hi!
(and check out all the funky stuff - over 20 vendors!)

Nate and I will have our own booth full of treasures...

blue retro table (we call her Betty), bookshelf, vintage filing cabinet, home decor items, kitchen stuff, clothes, books, strange old pole lamp, cool fluorescent video sign (I smell an awesome white elephant gift :), a few salvage goodies, and even a dollar bin!

How did we accumulate so much stuff??!!

How to be alone...

Little Grand Canyon Half Marathon

We finished a 1/2 marathon!!!

Sarah, Tammy, Jessica

The course was through the Little Grand Canyon in Eastern Utah (also known as the San Rafael Swell or BuckHorn Wash). Beautiful red rock, pictographs, and lot of fresh air!

The race started just as the sun was coming up...
(it was around 38 degrees - I was freezing!)

Doing Sarah's 7 minute warm-up that included:

Jumping
(and trying to keep my hands warm)

Stretching

and squats
(while I was finishing my protein bar)

All set to run 13.1 miles!

The beginning...

halfway point...

neat pictographs around mile 8...

This is the marathon runner that passed us at mile 10 - crazy!
We cheered and shouted congrats as he went by.
(Just for the record, only two marathoners passed us)

the home stretch...

We did it!

six years and counting...

At the beginning of this month Nate and I celebrated our six year anniversary! We had dinner at Mazza (which was fantastic!) and for dessert we got some Hawaiian ice cream from the place right next door (plus, in honor of our special day the server at Mazza sent us home with a big piece of Baklava on the house :), and then we fell asleep in the hammock talking and looking at the stars. It was a perfect evening. I love you Nate!
