Poppin Hyun Joon

Nate and I have been fantasizing about busting out these moves at our next church dance. It would be a big step up from the running man--but I think we're ready.

Nate loves this one...

Check out the 3rd kid that comes on!

All Hallow's Eve

Last night we went over to Rick and Georgia's house to spend some quality Halloween time together. Georgia made some tasty soup and she had festive "pumpkin" soup bowls.
Rick and Georgia have had the same costumes for as long as I have known them! A pumpkin and Superman. Lindsey was a fashion faux pas and Justin was a starving college student. Nate and I were Phillies fans. Later on Snow White and Woody stopped by and they looked so cute!

Besides the fact the Nate's parents have a lot of kids in their neighborhood, Georgia also teaches preschool so she gets all sorts of past and present students that come by for a trick or treat. She has been keeping a trick or treat tally since 1992! Not only is that amazing but it's on the same piece of paper! I love it. I think the highest was in 1995 at around 180.

Skatin' Station

Last Sunday we put on our rollerblades and went for a skate around Liberty Park with the Martineaus. It was fun to catch up with Holly and Chris in person instead of through the blogosphere. Not only is their daughter Natalie totally adorable, but Hank was getting all sorts of attention from people! Hank wasn't quite used to tugging my rump but after a slow take off we got going pretty fast. Awards go to Holly for best form, Chris for speed, and Natalie for cutest giggle while popping a stroller wheely!

Happy Happy Joy Joy!

I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to check the front porch (like I have a hundred times the past two days) and to my joyous surprise Charlie was waiting there!!! I scooped him up and held him like a baby for a good long while nuzzling him and burying my face in his furry neck. Then I bombarded him with questions: Where in the world have you been??!!!! Why didn't you tell me where you were going??!!!! Don't you know we have been out looking for your day and night for the past two days???!!

His reply: Sorry Mom, the discounted room rates in Wendover were just too good to pass up.

LOST CAT

LOST CAT
"Charlie"

I posted signs around the neighborhood this morning and went snooping around everyone's backyard, garage, shed, etc. He has been missing for over 24 hours. I hope he is just on a mini-vacation and forgot to let me know.
