Saw this idea on Poppytalk and loved it! We used to get these types of trays consigned at Abode quite frequently and I always thought they were lovely but didn't ever have a use for one. Now I do! Poppytalk also featured the most darling crocheted covered rocks from Resurrection Fern. Wouldn't they make a precious paperweight?

How fun with the trays -- the magnets stick to that nickle or silver? Are the rocks just covered with two doillies that are sewn together? How funny -- yes people are VERY creative.
I thought that was your house for a sec...those look like trays Nana has or ones that Grandma Eula had. Very clever, along with the rocks...I have a ton of doilies that just sit in the closet. Great idea. Thanks for sharing!
